About

Fellowship Trained in Primary Care Sports Medicine Dr. Brasier is committed to keeping her patients active healthy and enjoying an active life. For the last decade she has served the Greater Boston Metrowest community providing non-operative sports medicine care, rehabilitation, exercise guidance, and Osteopathic Treatment.  With tenure at both the Marino Center and Visions Medical Center, Dr. Brasier has worked with patients embodying a traditional and integrative approach to their individual problem.  While most sports related injuries and illnesses do not require surgery; when surgery is needed Dr. Brasier works closely with Orthopedic Surgeons at Newton Wellesley Hospital and Children’s Hospital and other area hospitals.

 

 As an Osteopathic Physician Dr. Brasier uses her training in Osteopathic Manipulation to help optimize motion of joints and soft tissues and improve pain.  When needed Dr. Brasier  works together with physical therapy, massage therapist and acupuncturist.   

 

At Sports Medicine Health keeping you healthy and active is a partnership between doctor and patient. There are many ways to engage in fitness and dietary changes but not all combinations   for everyone.  Dr Brasier utilizes videoconferencing also called Telemedicine with her patients to help keep them on track.  If you are getting started in an exercise program, maintaining yourself at your best fitness level or are trying to get to better fitness but there is barriers in the way, Then make an appointment with Dr. Brasier.  Let’s get you to your next goal!
